Terms & Conditions
Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions before placing an order with Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery.
These Terms and Conditions apply to any contract between us for the services and goods to you. An agreement of our quote will take place once an order has been placed and you have returned a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions. At this point a contract will come into existence between you and us. If you decline to accept these Terms and Conditions Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery will not be able to fulfill any goods or services to you.
Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. These changes will come into effect as soon as they are added to the website.
All orders placed with Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. Flo and Burt reserves the right to cancel an order at any stage.
Price estimates and payments
Once the price estimate has been approved Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery will require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated cost prior to any design work being under-taken. An invoice will be sent by Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery. The second and final payment will be due on approval of the digital proofs (stage 2) before printing can commence. If there is any delay in delivery as a result of late payment, Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery cannot be held responsible.
A time-scale will be put together for you at stage 1 of your order. This will show in stages how your order will progress and clearly state when each payment is due.
It is important to inform Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery if you are unable to work to the time-scale regarding copy, approving proofs/artwork and providing feedback, as this may result in a delay to your order.
For custom stationery please allow 4-6 weeks from placing your order to delivery of final stationery and for bespoke stationery please allow 6-8 weeks.
Digital proofs and the final artwork are sent via email. Great care is always taken to ensure all information is accurate, however, the client has responsibility to thoroughly check layout, copy, spelling, information and grammar. If designs are approved by the client with type errors and are subsequently printed, Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery takes no responsibility and will not be liable for any resulting cost. Any replacements will be charged in full. It is therefore essential to check spelling and wording thoroughly before approving any design.
Please note that the colour that appears on your computer screen will differ from the printed colour. It is therefore advisable to order a printed sample (wording will be different) from the custom stationery if you are uncertain about the colour.
I allow for up to two amendments when checking digital proofs in order to ensure timescale is not compromised. There after any further amendments will be charge at £10 each.
Minimum quantity for orders
There is a minimum order of 30 (per item) due to printer minimum quantities and the time involved in creating the artwork. For bespoke stationery the minimum order is also 30.
It is advisable to order all wedding stationery at the same time to avoid any additional delivery costs and also to factor in when placing your order, a few spares in case of handwritten errors.
Delivery and costs
Everything will be packaged with the utmost care. Orders will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery next day service which will require a signature upon delivery. The cost of UK delivery will be included in the price estimate.
A delivery date and delivery address will be confirmed with you before your stationery is posted. Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery is not liable for any missing invitations and proof of postage will be obtained where possible.
Cancellation of order
Any orders cancelled before proofs have been sent to printers will receive payment back in full of any sums paid less the non-refundable deposit. However, once proofs have been approved and sent to printers, the full amount will be charged. Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your order once it has been dispatched.
Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery will not be liable or responsible for any failure to fulfill our obligations under these Terms and Conditions that is caused by an act or event beyond our reasonable control. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you and arrange a new time-scale and delivery date.
All stationery artwork, illustrations and designs are copyright of Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery. They may not be reproduced in any form without prior permission from Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery. Any improper or illegal use of the stationery, artwork illustrations or designs will be pursued.
It is the clients’ responsibility to get permission to reproduce any copyrighted material, such as the words of hymns or poems which are to be featured in the stationery.
Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery reserves the right to use any stationery created for you to promote products and services. However, we will never share your contact details with third parties.
These Terms and Conditions are between you and Flo and Burt Wedding Stationery. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in relation to them) shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
